Obviously, this weekend’s anniversary celebration of 40 years since the original Woodstock concert is pretty different from the real deal (don’t even get me started on the guy who tried—in vain—to replicate Hendrix’s national anthem). But I still wish I coulda been there.

It’s worth mentioning that some of my favorite unsung indie heroes, The Wrens, have a new song available on itunes: Pulling Fences. Check it out.  Also, according to their website (Wrens.com), it looks like they’re finally getting serious about recording another album.  Praise be.
