Obviously, this weekend’s anniversary celebration of 40 years since the original Woodstock concert is pretty different from the real deal (don’t even get me started on the guy who tried—in vain—to replicate Hendrix’s national anthem).
But I still wish I coulda been there.

Mending Fences
It’s worth mentioning that some of my favorite unsung indie heroes, The Wrens, have a new song available on itunes: Pulling Fences. Check it out.
Also, according to their website (Wrens.com), it looks like they’re finally getting serious about recording another album.
Praise be.
Show of Support
Just wanted to say a sincere thanks to all who came out for my photography showing tonight. I almost feel like a legit artist.
Seriously, though—great to see you all. Hope you enjoyed!

do they know?
… it’s Christmas, after all. Or, er, almost. Look, we all know that the sky is falling, and nobody has any money, and it’s a recession, and the last thing you need to do is give everyone in your life lots of random crap that they don’t need and accumulate gobs of crap for yourself. Yes, I know, I’ve gone all Grinch. Bah, humbug, I say. It’s the truth: I’m anti-materialism (hard to believe,...
